SSI Technologies expanding Janesville plant

SSI Technologies Inc., a Janesville designer and manufacturer of powder-metal, stainless-steel and iron-based components for the automotive and industrial markets, will receive USD 220,000 in Development Opportunity Zone tax credits from the Department of Commerce for an expansion project that’s expected to create 40 jobs. In anticipation of increased demand for its products, SSI Technologies is spending USD 2.26 million to expand the Janesville facility by approximately 11,000sq/ft and to upgrade its equipment.
