Skanska to operate oil fields in Colombia

Skanska has been awarded a contract to operate and maintain oil fields in the department of Casanare, Colombia. The contract is a joint venture with a local company. The total amount of the contract is US$70 million (about SEK455 million), of which Skanska’s share is 73 per cent, amounting to a total of US$51 million (about SEK331 million). The customer is Ecopetrol S.A., the biggest company in the country and the main oil and gas company in Colombia. The order will be included in order bookings Skanska LA for the first quarter 2013.
