Sixty-six years later and Feldmeier continues to grow

New York-based company, Feldmeier Equipment Inc. has opened a brand new $15 million stainless steel tank factory at the former Brooklawn Golf Course in DeWitt, NY.
Although in May 2017 it was decided that the company had outgrown its facility on Townline Road in DeWitt, Colby Clark, VP of operations, explained that they would still keep the Townline facility open, and use it as the central components division. The new, 133,000 sq.-ft. building at 6655 Old Thompson Rd., will serve as Feldmeier’s new headquarters and fabrication location for its stainless steel tanks.
“My grandparents founded this company in 1952, and we are now three generations strong,” Clark explained. “That is a testament to the culture and legacy our founders built.”
The company manufactures stainless steel tanks for the pharmaceutical, biotech, cosmetic, food, dairy and beverage processing facilities. Currently employing 126 people in DeWitt, Clark explains that the number will continue to rise between 200 and 250 within the next five years as sales grow. The company continues to look for engineers, fabricators, welders and general labourers.
