Sensors with stainless steel housing

Fargo Controls, Inc. is now offering Miniature Inductive Proximity Sensors that are housed in stainless steel and have extended sensing distance. These small inductive sensors are available in 3mm, 4mm & 5mm diameter stainless steel housings. Despite their space saving size, they still have short circuit protection and a LED indicator.

Inductive proximity sensors are used for non-contact detection of metallic objects to control, position and monitor processes in automated machinery and industrial equipment for a variety of industries. The presence of a metal in the sensing area causes the sensor the change its output state.
