Sandvik to make an impact at NACE’s Corrosion 2018

Sandvik has released a statement announcing its intention to make a mark at NACE’s Corrosion 2018, with a strong presence at both the conference and the exhibition.

Four representatives of the company will speak at the conference on a number of topics related to corrosion. Angela Phillipp will discuss A New Bimetallic Solution to Manage Corrosion in Nitric Acid Plants; Daniel Gullberg will discuss New Stainless Steel Optimised for the Urea Process; and Anna Delblanc will explain the Comparison of Critical Pitting Temperatures of Stainless Steels in Different Salt Solutions. In addition to this, Katarina Persson will present a talk on Electromechanical Corrosion Comparison of Seamless Tubes in UNS S31266 and UNS S31254 With a New Testing Method.

At the company’s booth (#1231), the focus will be on a combination of knowledge, expertise and product excellence. The team will be on hand throughout the event to discuss the different materials available for numerous types of application, as well as helping customers solve any specific problems they might have.

Sandvik is offering visitors the chance to win a state-of-the-art Quadrocopter Yuneec Breeze RtF drone by taking part in a special NACE Corrosion quiz. By answering a few questions related to Sandvik and the steel industry, they will be entered into the prize draw.

NACE’s Corrosion 2018 is being held April 15 to 19 at the Phoenix Convention Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
