Ryerson Steel hires sales manager

Ryerson Steel has hired an inside sales manager, Joe Baysarowich, to its team at the Walden Industrial Park. This addition complements the existing seven-person staff that features outside sales manager Mike Crocco. Chicago-based Ryerson Steel is a distributor and processor of metals in North America. It has 11 Canadian operations, and is headquartered in Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The Lively facility came about through a series of mergers and acquisitions that started with Atlas Alloys. Some time ago, administrative work once done at the facility was shifted to Etobicoke leaving just the staff handling product, truck drivers and outside sales. Products featured in the Lively facility include stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloys and carbon plate. Top sellers are carbon plate, stainless steel and carbon and alloys. Ryerson Steel’s customers include Vale Inco, Xstrata Nickel and the forestry and municipal sectors all over NE Ontario and as far south as Barrie.
