Rodney C. Sandmeyer Retires from Sandmeyer Steel Company After 38 Years

Sandmeyer Steel Company, a leading global supplier of Stainless Steel, Nickel Alloy, and Titanium Plate and Plate Products, announces the retirement of Executive Vice President, Rodney C. Sandmeyer, effective March 31, 2023, after 38 years with the Company.

Before joining the Company, Sandmeyer worked with Merrill Lynch after graduating from the University of North Carolina.  During his six years with Merrill, he served as internal operations manager with stints in New York, Lansing, and Cincinnati, achieving the title of Assistant Vice President.

He joined the family owned and managed Company in 1985, initially serving in the role of Manager – Inside Sales. He subsequently transitioned to the operations side of the business, serving as Vice President – Operations and, finally, Executive Vice President.
