Productive Robotics’ Blaze Welding Cobot Works with Existing Equipment

Productive Robotics’ new 7-axis Blaze welding cobot can be paired with the user’s existing table, fixtures, and welding machine. It maneuvers around all sides of large or complex parts and fixtures to perform more weldments in a single setup.

The system offers the manufacturer’s proprietary teach-by-touch technology and accommodates high- or low-mix volumes, short- or long-part runs, or jobs requiring quick changeovers.

The cobot has a 61-in.-radius operating sphere and requires no new fixturing. The tablet controller can hold an unlimited library of weld recipes, giving the operator command of all welding parameters, including material type, voltage, wire feed, weld speed, and gas flow.
