On Friday May 8, Petronash Americas LLC held a grand-opening ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the opening of the American branch in Sugar Land, Texas.
This is the most recent business venture of the Petronash group, the specialized manufacturer of injection systems and well-head control panels for the oil and gas industries, and the first venture for Petronash in the United States.
Randy Hernandez, regional sales manager for Petronash Americas, stated that, “Currently we have expanded our operations to the USA, building a state-of-the-art facility in Sugar Land, to better service the USA, Canada, Central and South American, and African markets.” The current head count for Petronash Americas at the Sugar Land facility is 40, and growing. Petronash employs approximately 600-800 worldwide.
The manufacturing facility in Sugar Land features state-of-the-art technology, equipment and tools, enabling it to completely manufacture, assemble and test modular systems, chemical injection systems and well-head control panels. In 2012, Petronash acquired more than 6 acres of land and a 40,000-square-foot industrial building in Sugar Land. An additional 30,000-square-foot gantry and assembly and testing building was completed in early 2014. The total plant area is 6.5 acres.
“Key features and capabilities of the plant include a technically advanced fabrication shop that has a dedicated 30,000-square-foot area, and is equipped with semiautomatic and automatic machineries to handle the most complicated structural works. Structural fabrication can also be carried out through a combination of exotic stainless and carbon steel materials, using dissimilar welding procedures,” said Tim Bailey, operations manager, Petronash Americas LLC. “Material traceability is ensured during manufacturing and is traceable to material test reports.”
Petronash has been awarded its first projects to be fully executed at the Sugar Land facility. Universal Pegasus/Phillips 66 has awarded Petronash with the contract to manufacture chemical injection skids. Petronash Americas also has been awarded new contracts to engineer well-head control panels.
