PacifiCorp has contracted Casey Industrial for the full engineering, procurement, construction and start-up of enhanced air quality control technology at both Hunter and Huntington power plants in Utah, USA. PacifiCorp will replace the existing electrostatic precipitators on Huntington Unit 1 and Hunter Unit 2 with fabric filter baghouses. The Casey Industrial team includes Hamon Research-Cottrell Inc. (baghouses supplier) and Stanley Consultants Inc. (engineering support). The new Huntington Unit 1 baghouse will be brought online in late 2010. Hunter Unit 2’s baghouse will be brought online in 2011.
