O’Brien new president of IMV

IMV Projects has appointed Kevin O’Brien as president effective 1 January 2011. He will succeed Ivan Velev, the founding president of IMV Projects, who will remain with the company as chairman of the board. Kevin previously held the position of Chief Operating Officer and played a key role in promoting IMV Projects as a capable engineering, procurement and development management group for pipelines and thermal heavy oil facilities. With over 15 years of knowledge in Alberta’s oil and gas sector, he holds a bachelor of science degree in engineering from Queen’s university. IMV Projects is a Wood Group project execution company for the energy industry, headquartered in Alberta, Canada. Wood Group is an international power generation services company with three divisions composed of engineering and production facilities, well support and gas turbine services.
