North American Stainless Appoints Clive Grannum as Its New CEO

The current CEO of North American Stainless (“NAS”), Cristóbal Fuentes, will cease his executive functions on May 21, 2025, after 44 years of service with the company. He has been the CEO of NAS since 2010, and he will continue to provide services to the company as a Senior Advisor. NAS and the entire Acerinox Group thank him for his dedication and commitment over the years and his enormous contribution to the success of the Group.

NAS and the Acerinox Group extend a warm welcome to NAS’s new CEO, Clive Grannum. Mr. Grannum leads Performance Materials, Materion’s largest global business and a global leader in the production of specialty alloy products, clad metals, beryllium-based metals and ceramics, metal matrix composites, niobium-hafnium metals, and tantalum materials.

Before joining Materion in 2018, Mr. Grannum was President of Olin’s Global Chlorinated Organics business, the world’s largest chlorinated organics enterprise. Previously, he served as President, Global Chlorinated Organics at The Dow Chemical Company, and before that he served as Vice President and General Manager of Plastics Additives at Rohm and Haas. He also held several roles of increasing responsibility at The BOC Group and The ICI Group with his last role being Vice President of ICI and Senior Vice President, Uniqema Americas.

Mr. Grannum earned a Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering from Boston University and an MBA from Yale University.

He currently serves on the Board and is a member of the Audit and Compensation Committees of AZZ Inc., a market-leading metals treatment company.
