Norsk Titanium signs MoU with university

Norsk Titanium AS, a supplier of aerospace-grade, additive manufactured, structural titanium components has recently announced that its subsidiary, Norsk Titanium US Inc. has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) outlining a strategic relationship with Clarkson University in Potsdam, New York.

Under the terms of the agreement, Norsk Titanium and Clarkson University will join forces with the aim of developing new research projects relating to advanced metal additive manufacturing through Norsk’s proprietary Rapid Plasma Deposition™ (RPD™) process, create education programs to prepare Clarkson graduates for careers in additive manufacturing, launch workforce training programs in support of Norsk’s Plattsburgh production facility and execute technology demonstration and transfer opportunities together.
