Norsk Titanium AS, with American headquarters in New York, has recently declared that Dawne S. Hickton has been elected to Norsk Titanium’s Board of Directors. Hickton served as Vice Chair, President and Chief Executive Officer of RTI International Metals (RTI) from 2007 to 2015. Under her leadership, RTI experienced aggressive growth through new aerospace contracts, vertical integration, and a series of acquisitions leading to their USD $1.5 billion acquisition by Alcoa.
“Dawne is one of the world’s foremost experts in delivering large-scale orders of structural titanium components to companies such as Airbus, Boeing and Lockheed Martin,” said Norsk Titanium Chairman John Andersen, Jr. “Bringing on an executive leader of her caliber demonstrates how seriously we view our company’s role in revolutionizing the titanium industry.”
