Norgen features components for harsh environments

Norgren, the international pneumatic motion and fluid-control technologies company, will focus on increased safety and reliability in harsh operating conditions at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) at Reliant Park in Houston,
Texas, this May 2014.

Norgren will showcase its ICO4 Smart Solenoid valve with integrated electronics, which overcomes the limitations and compromises of traditional partial stroke testing to further streamline the engineering process. Filtration components and systems are constructed of 316 stainless steel, incorporating metallic parts that meet MR-01-75 NACE Standards so they resist sulphide stress cracking and discolouration. Proper filtration protects sensitive equipment on offshore installations from premature failure. A SIL-approved redundant valve manifold (RVM) reduces the risks of multiple leak points and operator error for Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS) and is available with 1oo2, 2oo2 or 2oo3 redundancy.

Norgren will share its stand with sister company CCI, which will display control and isolation valves for severe service applications.
