Huntingdon Fusion Thechniques (HFT), a manufacturer of tube and pipe purging systems, with partners in Canada, the U.S. and Sounth America, has introduced their PurgElite® purging system, specially designed to prevent oxidisation and discolouration and ensure a good internal weld profile, when welding tubes and pipes such as stainless steel, duplex and chrome.
This new purging system aids in achieving a cleaner, oxide free, zero-colour weld. It is manufactured to suit pipe diameters from 1” to 24” (25 – 600 mm) and are made of low outgassing rate materials, which gives it the ability to produce high quality welds in tubing and piping. The PurgeElite also includes a spinal tube that is resistant to hot metal up to 300oC (572oF) with flexibility to allow movement around tight bends.
