New president for Iron Ore of Canada

Iron Ore Co. (IOC) of Canada has announced that Mr Zoe Yujnovich will become IOC president as of 1 February 2010.  IOC, with mines and a concentrator in Labrador and a shipping port at Sept Iles, Quebec, is the country’s biggest iron ore producer and is controlled by Rio Tinto Group. Mr Yukinovick, a 14-year veteran with Rio Tinto and recently president of Rio Tinto Brazil, is succeeding the retiring Mr Terrence Bowles, who has led IOC as president and CEO for the past 8 years and has served a total of 36 years with Rio Tinto companies.
