New portable unit performs stainless steel branching

T-Drill, a manufacturing company of high-tech tube and pipe fabrication solutions, which is based in Finland and has services in North America, has introduced the T-65 SS. This portable unit has been built to make T-joints of 17 to 54 mm OD in main run tubes up to 300 mm.

This eliminates the cutting of pipes, two welded joints, fitting cost, tube polishing at welding points, and inspection costs. The branch pipe can be connected to a formed outlet by orbital or manual welding.

The machine has two handles: one for drilling through and the other one for pilot hole side movement. This minimizes the amount of force needed to drill through the steel.
