New patent for sensor/transmitters

OleumTech, the company that manufactures wireless industrial automation systems, has been granted a US patent, 8,763,455 B1 by the US Patent Office. The patent is for the Resistive Liquid Level/Temperature Sensor and Transmitter, technology that includes low voltage impedance and the levels of two different liquids located within a storage tank (usually oil and water).

The OleumTech Resistive Sensor and Wireless Transmitter is an intrinsically safe, battery-powered, self-contained solution that is ideal for deployment in harsh, hazardous areas where trenching and running conduit is not an option or economical. The 316 stainless steel resistive sensor, Part# WT-0900-LL3, is compatible with a vast number of chemicals, providing many liquid level applications in the oil and gas, petrochemical, food and beverage, water/wastewater and many other process industries for monitoring product, interface and temperature levels.
