New MultiStrike® tungsten electrodes

Huntingdon Fusion Techniques has recently launched its new MultiStrike® tungsten electrodes in an attempt to address growing concerns about the radiotoxic thoria in standard red tipped tungsten electrodes. This improvement offers benefits in quality, cost, safety and ease-of-use.
The MultiStrike has no radiotoxic and carcinogenic dopants such as thoria, therefore, there is no hazardous dust that could be inhaled during grinding. The product strikes arcs 10 times more than a red tipped thoriated tungsten when each was tested under the same conditions.
The new tungsten electrodes product is suitable for a wide variety of welding operations, particularly welding titanium, stainless steel and aluminium AC and DC.
