New cutter for stainless steel from Walter

Wisconsin-based Walter, a global leader in the metalworking industry with experience in precision cutting tools for milling, drilling, turning, boring and specialized tools, has introduced the M2471, a copy milling cutter.

The new cutter is designed for the machining of turbine blades, but also has applications in face milling of stainless steel, steel and difficult-to-cut materials.

Recommended depth of cut for the M2471 is 0.16 in. (4 mm). It is available with modular ScrewFit interface or shell mill mount.
