NA Stainless expands in Kentucky

North American Stainless (NAS) plans to invest USD 10 million on increased peeled bar production and another USD 20 million on additional equipment upgrades at its Ghent facility. The company is a subsidiary of Acerinox, S.A., headquartered in Madrid, Spain; this expansion marks the largest Spanish investment in the United States. Construction will commence this spring 2011, adding 35,000sq/ft to North American Stainless’ Long Products facility. The project is scheduled for completion by the second quarter of 2012.
