Murphy Co. attains new ASME certifications

Murphy Co., a mechanical/industrial construction and engineering company, which fabricates pressure vessels from stainless steel, carbon steel, titanium and other exotic alloys, has announced the addition of the following American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) code stamps for its Colorado office: R stamp – repairs and/or alterations of boilers and pressure vessels; U stamp – manufacture of pressure vessels; and PP stamp – fabrication and assembly of pressure piping.

These ASME certifications apply to the set of standards Murphy adheres to in the design, fabrication, assembly, repair, alteration and inspection of boiler and pressure vessel components. Murphy is authorized to manufacture and stamp a broad range of pressure vessels and products in accordance with the latest ASME boiler and pressure vessel codes.
