Formerly known as McJunkin Red Man Holding Corporation, MRC Global Inc. a Houston, Texas headquartered global distributor of pipes, valves and fittings, has filed a registration statement on Form S-1 for a proposed initial public offering of its common stock with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. While the amount of shares and price range has yet to be determined, an application will be made to list the common stock under the symbol “MRC” on the New York Stock Exchange. The registration statement has been filed but is not yet effective and offers to purchase and sales on the securities cannot be made until that time.
