Montana Hydraulics adds to services

Montana-based Industrial manufacturing company Montana Hydraulics has expanded its manufacturing capacity into custom metal laser cutting with the purchase of a Mazak Optiplex 3015 Fiber II laser cutter, which works with applications utilizing stainless steel, mild steel, copper, brass, aluminum and other exotic metals up to 1 inch thick.

The new machinery has created three new jobs and will operate on two 8-hour shifts. It was installed in May 2017, and began full productivity in mid-June 2017.

The company offers custom machining, fabrication, and hydraulic services for the mining, construction, underground utilities, railroads, timber processing machinery, waste management and aerospace tooling industries.
