Monnier acquires Fluid Air Holdings

Monnier has broadened its product portfolio, while also adding new expertise in fluid power systems with the acquisition Fluid Air Holdings Inc.

Monnier Inc., based in Algonac, Michigan and a manufacturer of filters, regulators, lubricators (FRLs), and other air preparation products, recently acquired the assets of Fluid Air Controls LLC, consisting of Flairline and Hydronic Corp., both based out of Farmington Hills, Michigan.

Flairline provides a wide array of standard and custom pneumatic and low-pressure hydraulic actuators, and related components for all industries. Actuators include round, stainless steel, and rod lock cylinders; pneumatic slides; and NFPA standard interchangeable cylinders. Flairline also offers a multi-optioned, industry standard line of flow-control and check valves, panel mounted, and swivel mounted valves.

Fluid Air Controls is a wholly owned subsidiary of Monnier and will now operate under the name Fluid Air Controls Holdings Inc. Products will continue to be sold under the Flairline and Hydronic names, according to Pat Nichols, president of Monnier. Fluid Air Controls Holdings Inc. will operate out of its current location in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
