Miniature sensors for the harshest environments

Hoffmann + Krippner, Inc. has released one of the smallest ultrasonic sensors on the market worldwide. This new compact sensor is designed for use in harsh environmental conditions as well as in hygienic applications.

With the special housing construction made of V4A stainless steel (1.4404), and a roughness depth of 0.6?m, the P53-80-D18 is well-suited for use in harsh environments that see dust, moisture and water vapour.

As the sensor and its mounting assembly can be sanitized with strong cleaning materials, it will be useful in the manufacturing, food and chemical processing, medical, agriculture, and packaging industries.
