Methods Machine Tools announces new precision center

Methods Machine Tools, Inc., a North American supplier of leading-edge precision machine tools and automation, has announced the opening of its new Precision Center in Acton, Massachusetts. The facility has been built for customers who need tight tolerance test cuts.

The center, designed and built by Methods Machine Tools, will allow manufacturers to arrive at the most accurate, and efficient machining solutions for complex components, saving them costly trial and error in their operations. The center will also offer a stringent climate controlled environment, which will monitor and maintain temperature, air pressure and humidity within the space at all times.

To maintain complete environmental stability, the Precision Center features a secured airlock entrance and exit. For ultimate machining stability, the building has one-meter-deep isolation pads with vertical and horizontal steel reinforcements.
