METALFORM Mexico continues as planned

The Precision Metalforming Association, The American Welding Society, The Fabricators and Manufacturers Association and The Society of Manufacturing Engineers have announced that their show in Mexico, scheduled for 2-4 June 2009 in Monterrey, Mexico, will continue as planned. The Mexican government announced that business is back to normal after closing much of the country for the holiday weekend, through May 5. The World Health Organization (WHO) has stated that the H1N1 virus, which is treatable with existing drugs, appears less severe than seasonal flu in most cases. Over 7000 attendees are expected to visit this event. The 2009 event is an international event, with exhibitors participating from the US, Canada, Germany, Italy, Spain, Argentina and China.
