With the help of Lincoln Electric, Bo-Dyn Bobsled Project Inc. and Chassis Dynamics, the US men’s four-man bobsled team brought home a gold medal from the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver, BC, Canada. The team included driver Steven Holcomb and the crew of Justin Olsen, Steve Mesler and Curt Tomasevicz. US women’s contenders, Erin Pac and Elana Meyers, also claimed a medal, bringing home the bronze in the women’s two-woman bobsled race. Lincoln Electric is an active sponsor of Bo-Dyn Bobsled Project Inc. providing equipment and consumables for US bobsleds that raced in the Winter Games. The Project provides American-made sleds, designed and fabricated with knowledge learned from NASCAR fabrication, to the US Bobsled and Skeleton Federation team.
