Lex South steel plant opens doors in Houston

Lex Holding Co., (The Lex Group), a distributor of flat rolled steel products for a variety of industries, has announced the opening of its newest location, Lex South, located in Houston, Texas. Lex South is projected to produce up to 15,000 tons of flat rolled steel per month, offering stainless steel and more, with thickness ranges of .022-.375″. With its additional Lex West and Lex Central facilities serving the central and western regions of the US, this most recent location in the south allows them to provide its products and services throughout the continental United States, Mexico and beyond via the ports in Houston.

With multi-generational experience in the metals and logistics industries, these products help serve a host of manufacturers based in the Southern US and Mexico including: automotive; office furniture; metal building; light duty shelving; appliance as well as the construction industry.
