Legrand adds new stainless steel safety switches

Legrand, whose US headquarters are located in Connecticut, has announced the launch of a new series of 316-Grade Stainless Steel Safety Switches. The switches are designed for use in harsh environments like food and beverage processing plants and industrial facilities, where wash-down/hose-down procedures at extreme temperatures are a daily necessity.

As part of the Pass & Seymour® product line, the new series of stainless steel switches are available in both standard and sloped-roof designs and offer water- and dust-tight enclosures rated NEMA 4X/12 and IP66/67/69 for protection against high-pressure and high-temperature.

The corrosion-resistant switches are available in 30A, 60A, 60A HP and 100A configurations and can accommodate up to three sets of auxiliary contacts for control circuit applications.
