Lebanon invites interest in LNG project

Lebanon’s ministry of energy and water has invited eligible companies involved in the liquefied natural gas import and re-gasification industries to express their interest in a planned local project.

The project includes operating a floating plant for LNG re-gasification starting from early 2015 and setting up an offshore floating terminal for receiving LNG vessels, the ministry said, according to the news agency.

Interested companies should apply before the June 4 deadline.
