LE updates Outback® welder

Lincoln Electric has updated their Outback® 145 with a Kohler® 9.5 HP Model CH395 OHC (overhead cam) gasoline engine. Ideal for jobsites and outdoor welding application that require a rugged and easily portable machine, the Outback includes a reliable generator. It is specifically designed for contractors, maintenance crews, farmers and ranchers; it can also be used on service trucks where portable DC stick welding and AC generator power is needed. The new Outback’s engine features a cast iron cylinder liner for ensuring long engine life and automatic shutdown for low oil level. The unit can deliver 145 amps of level DC output welding for use with up to 1/8 inch stick electrodes on steel, stainless steel, cast iron and hardfacing projects. It features a single, full-range, calibrated welding output dial which makes it easy to set the best current for any maintenance, fabrication or repair project. The Outback 145 high-capacity AC generator offers 4750 watts peak power and 4250 watts of continuous power for accessories including grinders, work lights and pumps. It can also supply emergency backup power if necessary. A Lincoln Electric POWER MIG® 140C or POWER MIG180C compact MIG wire welders can be plugged into the 240V receptacle without an adapter for high-productivity wire welding. The Outback features Lincoln’s exclusive Low-Lift™ grab bars, allowing for increased leverage when lifting the unit on and off truck beds and extra protection against damage.
