With easy and intuitive navigation features, and increased product detail, visitors can easily find the info needed to fulfill their welding and cutting requirements. A personal product wish list is also available. Navigation is the most notable change to the site as it now features marked “categories of interest,” with topics ranging from equipment to sports sponsorships. One click on these topics reveals a detailed menu of selection options, and a visually enhanced page displays the complete Lincoln Electric offering of products in that category. A filtering menu on the side of the page allows users to narrow their results and only view products that meet particular specifications, including input power, process capability and maximum output. Detailed product pages offer a comprehensive view of product information in an easy to read layout. A new login function allows users to register with the site, allowing for a customized user experience and the opportunity to create and print a personalized product wish list. To celebrate the launch of the new site, Lincoln Electric will reward new registered users with the opportunity to win prizes.
