Latrobe to improve wire manufacturing at Ohio faci

Latrobe Specialty Steel plans to purchase new equipment for its wire manufacturing business. Latrobe will use a Contingency Grant awarded by the Ohio Department of Development to fund the investment; the grant was given to the company for Latrobe’s job creation plans at its Wauseon, Ohio plant. The company will further expand capacity starting this summer with installation of technologically advanced hydrogen atmosphere furnaces to improve output at the Wauseon plant. This expansion will require approximately USD 3 million of additional investment.
