Large U.S. steel companies announce increases in steel

According to market news, some U.S. leading steelmaking companies such as US Steel Corporation, Nucor, and ArcelorMittal, among others, have announced to increase their steel prices for the near future, mainly due to the easing COVID-19 situation. The total output of steel in the U.S. had fallen by 11% this year, combined to the resuming demand from the market, the US steel prices also improve gradually. The US government has also planned to invest USD $2.3 trillion to help stimulate the steelmaking market, which could be a great opportunity for companies to rebound after the COVID-19 situation.
