Lapp Group releases stainless steel cable gland

The Lapp Group, whose US headquarters are located in New Jersey, has released a new metallic cable gland with FDA-approved material. The Skintop Hygienic stainless steel cable gland is designed for use in food and beverage, and pharmaceutical applications. The gland meets IP68 and 69K standards and is designed to withstand high pressure and high temperature wash-downs.

The company, who deals in industries such as food & beverage, oil & gas, pulp & paper and more, has designed the gland with features that prevent microorganisms and bacteria from sticking to the surface. It also has a temperature range from -20 to 100°C. In addition, this model has a polyamide insert and a special elastomer sealing element for food and beverage safety.
