Jacobs Receives Contract from Air Force Materiel C

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has announced that it received a contract from the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in Valparaiso, Fla. The three-year contract has an estimated value of USD$27 million.

Jacobs will provide software engineering and sustainment services for the Air Force’s Patriot Excalibur (PEX) system. PEX is software that enables warfighter preparation, tying all the functional areas of a squadron organization together and seamlessly sharing information and enhancing situational awareness across operations.

“We are delighted to continue and expand our relationship with the United States Air Force, and to have the opportunity support the AFMC in its mission to deliver expeditionary capabilities to the warfighter,” said Jacobs Group Vice President, Robert Norfleet at the announcement of the contract.
