Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. has been awarded a contract by the Central Texas Regional Mobility Authority for road projects located in the MoPac South corridor in Austin, Texas.
Mobility Authority officials estimate the contract value at $6 million.
Jacobs will manage environmental and preliminary engineering services as well as public involvement efforts related to the development of approximately nine miles of roadway and overpasses in the MoPac corridor.

Jacobs’ scope of work includes alternatives development and evaluation, environmental studies, public involvement, preliminary engineering, field survey, hydraulic studies, and schematic development.
