Increased production from Niobrara project

EnerJex Resources, an independent exploration and production company, has announced the results of its recent workover program in the company’s Niobrara Project located in North-eastern Colorado.

EnerJex has successfully completed working over eight vertical wells, which produce natural gas from the Niobrara formation at a depth of approximately 2,500 feet. They have increased the company’s gross production operations by more than 300 percent from approximately 80 thousand cubic feet of natural gas (Mcf) per day to approximately 350Mcf per day. The aggregate cost of completing all eight workovers was less than USD 100,000. EnerJex has identified approximately five additional workover candidates.
