Increase in stainless steel production

The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) has released figures for the first half year of 2016 showing that stainless steel melt shop production increased by 4.1 per cent year–on–year to 22.1 million metric tons. While the Americas had a decrease in production, Asia and China both had an increase.

The International Stainless Steel Forum (ISSF) is a non-profit research organisation, which represents the interests of the international stainless steel industry towards the general public, consumers, the media and regulatory authorities.
