IMINOX stainless steel awards in Mexico

The fourth National Award of Stainless Steel IMINOX-UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) 2015 was recently held at the Marquis Reforma hotel in Mexico City. It was attended by the organizing committee, a jury panel and participants.

The event was focused on two categories: Design (aimed at university students) and Transformation (aimed at the general public). The objectives of the event included: promoting Mexican design and culture, as well as the design of manufactured products with stainless steel; stimulating the connections between national economic players and the design academic sector; promoting the Mexican Institute of Stainless Steel (IMINOX) and its partners; as well as advertising and the advantages of stainless steel, promoting merchandising, and the use of stainless steel in every day Mexican life.

Winning prizes included a modular bench for parks by Jorge Joel Llanas Salazar, “HIPO” home hydroponics system by Roxana Munoz Mercado, and “Lotus” modular system for vertical gardens by Lucia Salgado Padilla.
