Hoists Made for Heavy-Duty Service Center, Steel Fabrication Applications

Engineered Material Handling (EMH) has introduced its line of EM model HF engineered hoists. Designed for heavy-service, Class D applications such as steel service centers and heavy steel fabrication, the hoists offer traditional features such as double reeving (8/2 and 12/2) for true vertical lift and half-depth drum grooves to eliminate rope guides.

The hoists allow easy access to upper sheaves for simplified maintenance. They offer standard closed-loop, flux-vector VF hoist control, designed with Class F motor insulation. According to the company, users can expect 40,000 hours of B-10 life for hoist gearboxes and motors.
