Hoffer Flow Controls’ HIT-4G

Hoffer Flow Controls, Inc. of Elizabeth City, North Carolina proudly introduces the HIT-4G, a new compact Gas Measurement Rate and Total Computer with temperature, pressure and AGA-8 compressibility compensation. The HIT-4G is the second release in Hoffer’s HIT-4 Series.

The HIT-4G provides temperature and pressure compensated gas flow measurement and also offers features such as Dual Totalizers, Modbus® and Data Logging.  Featuring a 6-digit rate display and separate 8-digit resettable and non-resettable flow totalizers, the HIT-4G is configurable for 4-20 mA loop power or DC power.

Several enclosure options are available including the explosion-proof enclosure (North America, ATEX & IEX) which is available in a powder coated aluminum or stainless steel option for maximum flexibility to meet the harshest of installation conditions. Other enclosure options include Nema 4X and panel mount.

Included is a magnetic pointer that enables operation of all front control panel functions without having to remove the enclosure cover. Data logs are part of the unit menu and are also accessible without opening the enclosure. 100 of the latest data logs can be accessed and read from the front panel with the rest accessible via the Modbus port. The multi-drop Modbus® RS-485 serial port allows for two-way communication while in operation and configuration with remote devices. The NEMA 4X enclosure offers options for local Modbus access ports via USB port or hardwired access through strain relief for data log retrieval and configuration of the unit.
