Heyco Metals, Inc., an ISO 9001:2008 US-based manufacturer of light gauge coil, sheet and strip has announced a new initiative to supply thin gauge stainless steel strip to new and existing customers and distributors that require a high quality precision stainless product with excellent surface properties.
Equipped with precision cluster and 4 high rolling mills, high temperature strand annealing, and Ungerer stretch band leveling capabilities, Heyco is currently producing annealed and cold rolled tempers up to Full Hard in type 301, 302, 304, and 304-L austenitic grades as well as T-430 ferritic stainless in gauge ranges from .020” down to .002”, in widths up to 16”. Other stainless grades will be introduced during the first quarter of 2013.
Surface quality is assured with custom ground work rolls and a state-of-the-art Cognex vision system, which inspects every square inch of finished product. Precision low tension loop slitters are capable of slitting down to 0.185” widths.
