Taking place on December 1st and 2nd, 2021 at the San Jacinto Colleges Lyondell-Basell Center for Petrochemical, Energy, & Technology (CPET) in Pasadena, TX, the Heat Exchanger World Americas Conference & Expo will be the event of the year. Experts from all facets of the industry will come together and discuss the challenges, solutions, capabilities, and market trends that have allowed the industry to grow and persevere through difficult geopolitical climates.
While the industry has been forced to adapt and change with modernization and digitalization, companies are eager to begin conducting face-to-face business again. With eight months left until the event, the Heat Exchanger World Americas team is excited to see the expo floor is already sold out, and looks forward to the networking, relationship and business building, and having solution-driven discussions. The Heat Exchanger World Americas Conference will feature the industrys subject matter experts (SMEs) and will showcase a diverse range of topics and end user-driven content. The Heat Exchanger World Americas 2021 Chairman, Naomi Jabbari with S&B Engineers & Constructors, as well as the Steering Committee, encourage presentations to be made on a wide variety of topics related to heat exchangers.
Stainless steel in heat exchangers
Heat exchangers play a vital role in numerous industries including oil & gas, chemical & petrochemical, water & wastewater, and coal & mining. As many of these industries use abrasive and corrosive media, it is crucial that the proper materials of construction are used to avoid any leaks or application failure. This could include stainless steels, duplex stainless steels, other corrosion-resistant alloys (CRAs), and exotic alloys.
Do not miss the opportunity to participate as a delegate or steering committee member and enlighten the heat exchanger community to all the ways that stainless can benefit the dynamitic heat exchanger industry. Heat Exchanger World Americas is looking for material SMEs to explore and discuss the use of these materials in the heat exchanger and heat transfer industries, and learn why it is so important to be aware of the options available.
If you are a materials expert or have exciting new information about heat exchangers, the Heat Exchanger World Americas team invites you to submit an abstract for a detailed PowerPoint presentation on a topic that you would like to present during the conference. Speakers are allocated approximately 25 minutes (this includes 5 to 10 minutes for questions) for their presentations. Moderators will ensure speakers keep to their allocated time and direct questions to the speaker.
If you would like to present a paper or presentation during the conference, please submit a 250- to 500-word abstract, outlining the material you would like to cover to Catarina Muia (c.muia@kci-world.com) and Brittani Schroeder (b.schroeder@kciworld.com), to be reviewed by the Steering Committee. Please remember to include your abstracts main title, your name, job title, company, and contact information.
