An expansion at a steel processing plant in La Porte County, Indiana is expected to add 52 jobs before the end of 2017.
Haynes International, a leading developer and manufacturer of high-performance nickel- and cobalt-based alloys used in corrosion-resistant and high-temperature applications, will close its service center in Lebanon, Indiana, because it has outgrown the space, according to Ron Dageforde, the companys Distribution Strategy Director.
The project will create 32 hourly positions and 20 salaried positions at the plant with a payroll of USD $2.5 million, Dageforde said. It will also ensure the retention of 50 existing jobs with a payroll of USD $2.7 million.
