Harsco $60 M renewal for steel mill services

Harsco Corporation, with headquarters in Pennsylvania, recently announced the contract renewal of several Harsco Metals & Minerals onsite mill services at the ThyssenKrupp-owned Acciai Speciali Terni (AST) stainless steel works in Terni, Italy. Valued at approximately $60 million in projected revenues over its duration, the renewal adds to three other renewals at this site last year which together, continue Harsco’s long-standing role as the mill’s principal mill services contractor. Harsco has been providing continuous onsite services to the AST works, Italy’s only manufacturer of stainless steel flat products, for more than two decades.

Harsco’s Metals & Minerals division is a global provider of onsite material processing and environmental services to the metals industry, with operations at approximately 170 sites across more than 30 countries. The division is a technology partner to cleaner, more efficient metal production, providing economically and environmentally viable solutions for the treatment and reuse of production waste streams across the industry.
