GEA introduces CMAG flow meter for sensitive processes

GEA has developed the CMAG™ magnetic inductive flow meter for automated production plants in the food, pharmaceutical and biotech and other industries.

An easy-to-install version of the IZMAG™ flow meter, the CMAG is designed to deliver highly accurate and reliable measurement data, helping customers improve dosing and recipe control, minimize risks and optimize resource utilization.

It has a hygienic stainless steel design and aseptic flange, making it suitable for sensitive processes in the processing of beverages, liquid foods and milk, as well as liquid pharmaceutical, chemical and agrochemical products, personal care products, process, waste and sea water, concentrated salt solutions and aqueous urea solutions. A small footprint enables more flexible positioning within the plant. Installation and commissioning do not involve a significant expenditure of time and money. In addition, GEA reports that the flow meter is extremely energy efficient and can easily be connected via an M12 plug.
